쉽게 배우는 농구 룰 & 경기 방식
KR 농구는 빠른 템포와 화려한 움직임 때문에 어려워 보이지만, 실제로는 “공을 넣고, 공을 지키는” 아주 직관적인 스포츠다.
EN Basketball can look fast and complex, but at its core it’s a simple sport: score points and protect the ball.
1. 경기 목표
The Objective of Basketball
KR 농구의 목표는 공을 상대 골대(링)에 넣어 점수를 얻는 것이다. 더 많은 점수를 넣는 팀이 승리한다.
EN The goal of basketball is to shoot the ball into the opponent’s hoop. The team with more points wins the game.
KR 3점 슛 = 3점, 2점 구역에서 넣으면 2점
EN 3-point shot = 3 points, inside arc = 2 points

2. 코트 구성
Court Layout
- KR3점 라인 – 바깥에서 넣으면 3점
- EN3-point line – shots beyond this arc are worth 3 points
- KR페인트 존(제한구역) – 골밑 공간
- ENPaint (key) – the area near the basket
- KR센터 라인 – 백코트 바이올레이션과 관련됨
- ENCenter line – used for backcourt violations
3. 초보자가 가장 헷갈리는 규칙
The Rules Beginners Struggle With
트래블링 (Traveling)
KR 공을 잡고 피벗 발을 움직이거나, 드리블 없이 발을 많이 움직이면 트래블링이다.
EN Traveling is moving your feet illegally while holding the ball without dribbling.
더블 드리블 (Double Dribble)
KR 드리블을 멈췄다가 다시 드리블하면 반칙이다.
EN A double dribble occurs when a player stops dribbling and then starts again.
8초 / 24초 규칙 (8-second & 24-second Rules)
KR 공격 팀은 8초 안에 하프라인을 넘어야 하며, 24초 안에 슛을 시도해야 한다.
EN The offense must cross half court within 8 seconds and attempt a shot within 24 seconds.
4. 파울 (Fouls)
Personal & Team Fouls
- KR 개인 파울 – 신체 접촉으로 반칙하는 경우
- EN Personal foul – illegal physical contact
- KR 팀 파울 누적 시 자유투(Free Throw) 기회 발생
- EN When team fouls accumulate, the opponent gets free throws
