쉽게 배우는 아이스하키 룰 & 경기 방식
KR 아이스하키는 속도·충돌·기술이 모두 들어 있는 박진감 넘치는 스포츠다. 룰이 복잡해 보이지만, 기본 구조는 surprisingly simple.

1. 아이스하키의 목표
The Goal of Ice Hockey
KR 스틱으로 퍽(puck)을 상대 골대 안으로 넣어 점수를 얻는다. 경기 종료 시 더 많은 골을 넣은 팀이 승리한다.

2. 경기장(링크) 구조

- KR공격 구역(Attacking Zone) – 상대 팀 골대가 있는 구역

- KR중립 구역(Neutral Zone) – 가운데 구역

- KR수비 구역(Defending Zone) – 자기 팀 골대가 있는 구역

3. 3피리어드 경기 방식
Three-Period Game Structure
KR 경기는 20분씩 3피리어드(총 60분)으로 구성된다. 3피리어드 종료 시 동점이면 연장전 또는 승부치기로 돌입한다.
EN The game is played in three 20-minute periods (total of 60 minutes). If tied after the 3rd period, overtime or a shootout decides the winner.
4. 가장 헷갈리는 룰 2개
Two Rules Everyone Gets Confused About
1) 오프사이드(Offside)
KR 공격팀 선수가 퍽보다 먼저 공격 구역에 들어가면 오프사이드다.
EN Offside occurs when an attacking player enters the attacking zone before the puck.
2) 아이싱(Icing)
KR 수비 구역에서 아무나 퍽을 멀리 쳐서 상대 골라인을 그대로 넘기면 아이싱이다.
EN Icing is when a team shoots the puck from behind the center line and it crosses the opponent’s goal line untouched.
EN Offside = “entered too early”, Icing = “shot too far”.
5. 페널티(Penalties)
Penalties
- KR2분 퇴장(Minor Penalty) – 가벼운 규칙 위반
- ENMinor Penalty (2 minutes) – for less serious fouls
- KR5분 퇴장(Major Penalty) – 거친 반칙, 난폭 플레이
- ENMajor Penalty (5 minutes) – for heavy or dangerous plays
- KR패널티 킬(Penalty Kill) – 한 팀이 적은 인원으로 수비
- ENPenalty Kill – defending while short-handed
- KR파워 플레이(Power Play) – 상대가 적은 인원이 되었을 때 공격
- ENPower Play – advantage when the opponent has fewer players
